I'm generally enjoying the flow of the show now, though both of the episodes for this week presented major disruptions to that. Toys in the Attic was a really fun horror story, but the resolution of the mystery undercut what I liked about it.
I only watched Part 1 of Jupiter Jazz, so I'll withhold any solid judgement there, but the back-to-back tropey introduction of trans characters is challenging. First as a gag with the sex worker Spike meets, and then Gen as the alien intersex/nonbinary, both very of-their-moment but unpleasant choices. I'm open to feeling different at the resolution of the two-parter, but not expecting much.
