I really enjoyed how this episode played out as almost a heist movie "getting the team together" on the cops' side. Two days ago on the Ranged Touch discord, cmrn said, "I gotta tell you I don't like (in terms of enjoying their screentime or rooting for them) like 85% of the characters in The Wire, but I do like when they all ping pong into each other" and I think that fits pretty well with this first episode for me.
