Christopher is the best character in this show. I'm sure only good things will happen to him.
It was probably inevitable that the energy of the pilot would wane as the show transitioned into weekly episodes. Even decompressed and padded with B-plot, I still found this episode very watchable and engaging. I've heard the early parts of the show take time to find the genre, so I'm interested in tracking that week to week.
