Heavy Metal Queen is probably the best of these episodes so far, I kind of feel like the show works better for me when it shifts focus away from the main crew.
That said, episode eight on Venus fell flat, I think because of how thin and boilerplate the plot was. Pretty sure it's the first time the crew has gotten paid onscreen though.
