Torture Time | Andor S1E9 | Dudes Daily
There's a very interesting elision between this episode and the last, where Cassian has become involved in organized resistance within the prison. It's not impossible to square with what we know of the character, motivated as he is by self-interest, but it does sit a little oddly after so much time dedicated to showing him not being a great team player. I'm fine with the shift in his character, but it would have been nice to see it happen, at least in some part.
The rest of the episode was smooth enough. Bix's torture scene was pretty harrowing, though it does feel undercut by her complete lack of characterization beyond "woman the main character likes."
