Had a big weekend and fell into an Elden Ring fugue state afterward, playing catch-up this week.
Extremely disappointed in the resolution to Jupiter Jazz, justifying Gren's body as a result of his imprisonment in a single throw-away line, then doing nothing else with that thread until he's killed off in the resolution. Feels very clear to me that the entire affair serves to produce a trans-panic cliffhanger for shock value and little else.
The chess episode was reasonably fun as a sort of filler story, not much to remark on there.
